Milan Plans to Sign Samuel Ricci
Reports have revealed that AC Milan is aiming to sign Samuel Ricci, a midfielder from Torino, as their first signing in the summer transfer market. This move is part of the management's plan to bolster the team before the start of the new season and to avoid repeating the inconsistent performance under former coach Sergio Conceição.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Milan is still interested in acquiring Ricci, noting that the player is eager to join the Rossoneri. He added that communications between Milan and Torino have recently resumed after being halted for several months.
Ricci, who is 23 years old, participated in 36 matches with Torino this season, totaling 2959 minutes, during which he scored one goal and provided two assists. He also received 9 yellow cards and one red card.
It is worth mentioning that Milan recently announced the signing of coach Massimiliano Allegri to lead the team for two seasons, with an option to extend for a third season, succeeding Portuguese coach Conceição.
