Reports have indicated that the ongoing discussions between Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr have completely halted due to disagreements related to some of the player's demands.

Ronaldo requested a substantial budget to strengthen the team with outstanding local players, in addition to bringing in prominent foreign names that align with his ambitions for competition next season.

The reports pointed out that Ronaldo demanded changes at the managerial level in the football sector within the club, considering this a crucial part of his plan to stay.

Despite the halt in negotiations, Ronaldo clarified his commitment to remaining in the Saudi league solely with Al-Nassr, without any intention to move to another local club.

Negotiations are expected to resume in the coming hours, aiming to extend the contract of the 40-year-old player for two additional seasons before his contract expires on June 30.

Amid the uncertainty surrounding his future, speculations have emerged about the possibility of Ronaldo transferring to Al-Hilal or Al-Ahli if negotiations with his current club falter.
