The Al-Ahly club announced the departure of 3 players from its ranks, following the expiration of their contracts at the end of the current season 2024-25.

Al-Ahly issued an official statement yesterday, Thursday, thanking goalkeeper Hamza Alaa, defender Rami Rabia, and midfielder Akram Tawfik after the end of their contracts with the red team.

It is worth noting that Al-Ahly attempted to reach an agreement with Rami Rabia to renew his contract, but negotiations reached an impasse after the player rejected the financial demands for renewal.

Meanwhile, Akram Tawfik will leave Al-Ahly after the end of his contract to embark on a professional experience abroad through the Qatari North Gate in the upcoming season 2025-26.

The destination of goalkeeper Hamza Alaa after leaving Al-Ahly is still unclear, as his name has been linked to a transfer to Zamalek or Pyramids, with the possibility of moving abroad this summer.
