The newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported that Al-Hilal Saudi Club could achieve massive financial profits exceeding $400 million if it successfully signs Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo.

If the deal is completed, Al-Hilal's management plans to implement a new strategy that includes reshaping the team by releasing some foreign players and signing local players on a permanent basis.

Since last January, Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has entered the free period of his contract, giving him the full right to negotiate without referring to his current club's management.

The Al-Hilal team will kick off its journey in the FIFA Club World Cup with a strong match against Spanish club Real Madrid on June 18 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, USA.
