Media personality Amir Hossam shared statements from Yasser Ibrahim, the Al Ahly star, regarding his renewal with the club.
Amir Hossam said via Facebook: "Yasser Ibrahim: I renewed with Al Ahly during the trip to South Africa before facing Sundowns, and I agreed with Mohamed Ramadan and Mohamed Shawky on everything, and my contract extends for two seasons."
Al Ahly will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off on June 14 in the United States.
Al Ahly's group in the tournament includes Palmeiras from Brazil, Porto from Portugal, and Inter Miami from the USA.
