
Al-Qadisiyah Coach Talks About Upcoming Match Against Al-Ittihad in King’s Cup
Mitchell Gonzalez, the coach of Al-Qadisiyah, confirmed that his team is capable of defeating Al-Ittihad in the King’s Cup final tomorrow, Friday.
Al-Ittihad will face Al-Qadisiyah tomorrow, Friday, in the King’s Cup final, with the match starting at 9 PM Cairo and Mecca time.
The Spanish coach said at the press conference before the match: "We came to Jeddah to crown our season after a wonderful run in the cup, and we finished the league in third place on the field and fourth in the standings."
He added: "We will face a team with high quality, possessing world-class names and the best coach in the league (Laurent Blanc), but we have players with great experience, next to me is Nacho who has won the Champions League 6 times, we will not play with fear."
He continued: "We have won against all the major fan teams, except for Al-Ittihad, but I am confident that we will do what is required tomorrow to achieve our first victory against Al-Ittihad."
He added: "The ambition is great at this club since the beginning of the season, and we have developed step by step. I am happy to work with this group of players and appreciate their efforts throughout the season; they are the reason for my reaching the final."
