Tottenham Opens the Door for Son's Departure
Thursday 29-05-2025
The future of South Korean star Heung-Min Son, captain of Tottenham Hotspur, is now in doubt following reports about the possibility of his departure during the upcoming summer transfer window, despite recently extending his contract until the summer of 2026.

According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail", Saudi league clubs have shown serious interest in signing Son as part of their efforts to acquire global stars, especially with discussions about the potential departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from Al-Nassr.

The report indicated that Tottenham's management does not mind selling Son, but they require a significant financial offer of at least £50 million to agree to his departure during the summer transfer window.

Son is considered one of the club's greatest legends, having scored 173 goals in 454 matches since joining in 2015.
