A French media report stated today, Thursday, that the French national team coach Didier Deschamps is facing a real crisis due to Real Madrid.

The French newspaper "L'Équipe" mentioned that Real Madrid refused to release Kylian Mbappé and Aurélien Tchouaméni early to join the French national team tomorrow, Friday.

The source added that Real Madrid requested Mbappé and Tchouaméni to join the national team on Monday, in order to give them enough rest after a tiring season.

The source concluded that Deschamps wants the duo to be present tomorrow in the national team's camp, especially given his struggle with player shortages due to the UEFA Champions League final.

The French national team is preparing to face its Spanish counterpart on June 5 in the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League.
