Saudi National Team Begins Training Camp in Khobar for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers

On Wednesday, the preparatory camp for the Saudi national team began in the city of Khobar, as part of its preparations for the decisive rounds of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The "Green" will play its first match against the Bahrain national team on June 5 at home, before facing the Australian counterpart on June 10 in the city of Jeddah.

The first training session for the team took place at the "Al-Ettifaq Club Stadium", led by French coach Hervé Renard, where the exercises varied between warm-up, ball control, small matches, and stretching exercises.

Regarding the medical side, players Ali Majrashi, Muteb Al-Harbi, and Muhammad Bakr underwent individual training under the direct supervision of the medical staff to rehabilitate them ahead of the upcoming rounds.

The Saudi national team continues its training today, Thursday, with a closed evening session at the Al-Ettifaq Stadium, starting at 7 PM as part of the ongoing preparation program.
