Chelsea's coach Enzo Mariska appeared in press statements after winning the European Conference League title against Betis (4-1) in the final.

The coach said in his remarks: "I am very happy. I felt a bit of frustration in the first half because I think we approached the match incorrectly."

He added: "I expected something like this to happen because the happiness was somewhat exaggerated after the Nottingham Forest match, so we struggled a bit in the first half, and in the second half, we were much better, and now we are extremely happy."

He continued: "The message after the Nottingham Forest match was: Guys, if we want to be an important team, what we did is over, and we have to win the final."

He concluded: "It's about happiness and fatigue because we had 48 hours less than them; they played on Friday without any goal, while we played on Sunday for a very big goal, which is qualifying for the Champions League, so I expected what happened today, in the second half, we played much better."
