Al Ahly succeeded in clinching the Egyptian Premier League title for the 45th time in its history after defeating Farco today, Wednesday, with a crushing score of (6-0) in the match that took place as part of the eighth and final round of the decisive phase of the Premier League.
Al Ahly's first, second, third, and fourth goals were scored by Wassim Abu Ali in the 10th, 33rd, 61st, and 66th minutes. Then, in the 75th minute, Hussein El Shahat added the fifth goal for the Reds, and in the 90+3rd minute, Imam Ashour scored the sixth goal for Al Ahly.
With today's match result, Al Ahly's points increased to 58 at the top of the league table, and the Reds have secured the title without considering the result of the ongoing match between Pyramids and Ceramica Cleopatra.
It is noteworthy that Al Ahly's last league title was in the 2023-2024 season.
