The players of the Saudi national team will begin their training camp on Wednesday afternoon in the city of Khobar, as part of the preparations for the ninth and tenth rounds of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Players from the Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadisiyah teams are expected to join the camp after completing their participation in the final of the King’s Cup, giving them some time to rest before engaging in preparations.

French coach Hervé Renard will lead closed training sessions for the team from May 28 to June 3 at the Al-Ettifaq Club stadium in Khobar, as part of enhancing physical and technical readiness.

The Green will play a friendly match against the Jordanian national team on May 30, before heading to Bahrain on June 3 to face its national team in the ninth round of the Asian qualifiers.

The Saudi national team will conclude this stage of the qualifiers with a strong match against the Australian national team, scheduled for June 10 at the Al-Inma stadium in Jeddah, amid wide public anticipation.

Journalists will have the opportunity to attend team training for 15 minutes in three phases: May 31 at Al-Ettifaq Club, June 4 in Bahrain, and June 9 in Jeddah, as part of the media coverage protocols for the camp.
