Lamine Yamal, the star of Barcelona and the Spanish national team, is looking forward to a new season with greater ambitions under the guidance of German coach Hans Flick, following the extension of his contract with the Catalan club until 2031.

Yamal had a remarkable performance last season, contributing to Barcelona's triumph in the domestic treble: La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup, but the young player's ambitions do not stop there.

According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Lamine Yamal plans to hold a meeting with Flick in the near future to present his technical demands, the most important of which is to receive more playing minutes, even in matches that are decided early, in order to continue his development.

Yamal, who will turn 18 next July, seeks to double his statistics in terms of goals scored and chances created, and he hopes to enter the list of penalty and free-kick takers, which is currently shared by Raphinha, Ferran Torres, and Robert Lewandowski.

Lamine believes that improving his scoring record and assists will enhance his chances of competing for individual awards, foremost among them the Ballon d'Or.
