Ashraf Nassar, the president of Al Ahly Bank Club, revealed the truth about Mahmoud Al-Jazzar, the team's defender, approaching a transfer to Al Ahly during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Media reports have suggested that Al-Jazzar is close to strengthening Al Ahly's defense before their participation in the Club World Cup this summer.

Nassar stated in press remarks: "We have not received any official offers regarding Mahmoud Al-Jazzar, and we are postponing the transfer file until the end of the season to avoid distracting the players and the coaching staff."

He added: "Al Ahly or Al-Jazzar's agent has not contacted us regarding this matter, and concerning goalkeeper Mohamed Abu Jabal, his contract ends at the end of the season, and we have not discussed the renewal file with him yet."
