French star Karim Benzema of Al-Ittihad responded to recent news about Al-Hilal's desire to loan him before the 2025 Club World Cup.
Media reports had mentioned Al-Hilal's interest in acquiring Benzema, N'Golo Kanté, and Moussa Diaby ahead of the tournament in June.
During Al-Ittihad's celebrations for winning the Roshen Saudi League title, Benzema was asked about the possibility of transferring to Al-Hilal for the World Cup, to which he responded with surprise and disapproval: "What are you saying? I play for Al-Hilal? Why?".
The French star then left without making any further comments.
