Saudi Football Federation's Position on the Sports Arbitration Decision
The Saudi Football Federation announced its full commitment to implement the decision of the Sports Arbitration Center, which ruled that Al-Orouba Club lost its match against Al-Nassr Club in this season's Roshan League.
The federation clarified through its official website that the issued arbitration decision is final and binding, responding to the dispute submitted by Al-Nassr, as the previous ruling issued by the Appeals Committee of the federation was canceled.
According to the text of the decision, the arbitration body unanimously ruled that Al-Orouba Club is responsible for the loss in the match against Al-Nassr that took place on February 28, and imposed a financial penalty of fifty thousand Saudi Riyals.
The decision also included charging both Al-Orouba Club and the Saudi Football Federation the costs of expedited arbitration procedures, to be equally divided between the concerned parties.
The body confirmed that the issued ruling is not subject to appeal before any internal or external entity, making it enforceable and immediate, closing the door on any further legal actions regarding this matter.
