AS Roma achieved a valuable victory against their rival Torino with a score of 2-0, in the match that brought the two teams together in the 38th and final round of the Italian league.

Leandro Paredes scored the first goal for the capital team in the 18th minute of the first half through a penalty kick, before Alexis Saelemaekers added the second goal in the 53rd minute with a brilliant header after a precise cross from Matias Soulé.

Torino tried to threaten Roma's goal on several occasions, but they failed to convert them into goals.

With this victory, Roma raised their points tally to 69, finishing the season in fifth place in the Italian league standings, securing qualification for the Europa League, while Torino's points remained at 44 in eleventh place.
