The Brazilian Football Confederation revealed today, Sunday, on its official website, the identity of the new president of the Brazilian Federation, succeeding its former president Ednaldo Rodrigues.
Dr. and businessman Samir Shaud has become the new president of the Brazilian Football Confederation until 2029, having received 103 votes out of 46 voters present at the general assembly.

Eight vice presidents were elected: Ednilson Leite Rosenha, Fernando José Macieira Sarney, Flávio Dias Zveiter, Gustavo Dias Henrique, José Vanildo da Silva, Michel Ramalho Cardoso, Ricardo Augusto Lobo Gluck Paul, and Rubens Renato Angeloti.
The Brazilian judiciary had announced several weeks ago the dismissal of Ednaldo Rodrigues from his position as president of the Brazilian Federation.
