Al-Muammar: The Football Association Previously Apologized in Two Cases for Al-Nassr
Saturday 24-05-2025
Musalli Al-Muammar, the former president of Al-Nassr Club, commented on his club's case against Al-Urooba regarding the eligibility of goalkeeper Raef Al-Ruwaili to participate in the match that brought the two teams together in the league championship.

Al-Nassr is demanding that the points from the Al-Urooba match be awarded to them, as Al-Ruwaili is considered an amateur and non-professional player, and they are awaiting a decision on this case in hopes of participating in the elite AFC Champions League.

Al-Muammar said: "There are two previous cases for Al-Nassr against two other Saudi clubs before the Sports Arbitration Center, and the Saudi Football Association apologized for litigating and defending its decisions that were in favor of Al-Nassr, claiming that they do not want to be in a dispute with one Saudi club against another."

He added via his account on 'X': "Now, in the case of Al-Nassr against Al-Urooba... I hope they applied the same principle and did not interfere or stand with one club against another... and that the news that appeared was incorrect."

He concluded his remarks: "If it is proven to me later that they applied the same principle in this case, it is my duty to clarify that... and I commend them for their steadfastness."
