The French club Monaco is nearing a contract with Spanish winger Ansu Fati, a player from Barcelona, during the upcoming summer transfer window, in a deal that could pave the way for his permanent exit from the Catalan club.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, negotiations between Barcelona and Monaco have reached advanced stages regarding Fati's loan transfer with a purchase option.

Romano indicated that the young player is very open to this new experience and has shown great enthusiasm for moving to Ligue 1, while negotiations continue to finalize the deal.

It is noteworthy that Fati returned to Barcelona at the beginning of the current season after an unsuccessful loan period with Brighton in England, but he suffered an injury at the start of the preparation period under coach Hans Flick, leading him to be excluded from the latter's plans.
