The Iraqi Football Association has officially announced the assignment of the management of the summit match between Police and Duhok to an Emirati referee crew, as part of the postponed 21st round of the Iraqi Stars League, which will be held tomorrow Saturday at Duhok Stadium.

The match will be led by Emirati referee Adel Alnaqbi as the main referee, assisted by his compatriot Mohammed Almazmi as the first assistant, while the second assistant from the UAE has apologized for attending for personal reasons, and the crew will be completed by utilizing Iraqi referees to cover the shortage in the assistant teams.

Emirati referee Saqr Alzaabi has also been appointed to lead the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) room, amid close monitoring of this important match that could determine the top of the standings.

This step comes in light of the referees committee's keenness to ensure the highest levels of integrity and accuracy in managing sensitive matches, especially since the encounter carries a high competitive nature between two teams vying for advanced positions in the standings.
