The Position of the Sports Court Regarding Pyramids' Complaint Against Al-Ahly
Sports critic Amr El-Dardir commented on the position of the International Sports Court regarding Pyramids' complaint against Al-Ahly.
El-Dardir said via Facebook: "Pyramids strikes a strong blow to Al-Ahly and the Football Association! The International Sports Court (CAS) sent an official letter today to the Football Association, asking them: 'Where is your response to Pyramids' appeal?' It demanded a response from:
• The Football Association
• The Clubs Association
• Al-Ahly
• Zamalek
And the matter is urgent... You have only 24 hours!.. It is clear that Pyramids has started to play the European way... legal strikes at the last moment.
Al-Ahly did not attend the summit match against Zamalek due to the lack of foreign referees to manage the match, and Pyramids and Zamalek objected to the lack of a deduction of 3 points from the red team at the end of the season.
Pyramids resorted to the International Sports Court after the Appeals Committee's decision not to deduct additional points from Al-Ahly, limiting the deduction to the points of the summit match only.
