A French newspaper report today discussed the hesitation within the management of Olympique Marseille regarding the permanent signing of Algerian star Ismaël Bennacer.
According to L'Équipe, the decision has not yet been made regarding the activation of the permanent purchase option for Bennacer for an amount of 12 million euros, who is on loan from Italian club AC Milan.
This is due to the player's declining performance and the physical issues he is suffering from, in addition to his high salary.
It is worth noting that Ismaël Bennacer has participated in 12 matches with Marseille since joining the team in the winter.
