Harvey Elliott hints at leaving Liverpool
Liverpool player Harvey Elliott hinted at leaving the ranks of the Reds during the upcoming summer transfer window, following the end of this season.
Elliott said after the 3-2 loss against Brighton: "Try not to over-celebrate, we have worked hard all season. Some players like me haven't played much during the season, and it's about going out and enjoying it."
He added: "We want to win and enjoy. We have to take the positives and carry them into the final match next week."
He concluded: "I think I have succeeded this season. It has been difficult considering the number of matches I have played. I have done my best, and whatever happens, happens. It's about what is best for my career. It's about thinking and seeing what I can do. I am here currently and focusing on the last match of this season."
