Sports critic Abdul Karim Al-Jasser confirmed that Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri may face a fate similar to his compatriot Stefano Pioli, who signed with Al-Nassr without a clear prior agreement.

Al-Jasser added that Allegri is better than Pioli in performance, but the situation is complicated due to the desire of fans and players to continue with the current coach Matthias Jaissle, which has put Al-Ahli's management in a very difficult position.

Reports have circulated about Al-Ahli's management signing a contract with Allegri to start his mission with the team next season, despite two local teams rejecting the offer to contract with him.

Pioli was close to coaching Al-Ittihad last summer, as he posted a picture with the club's logo and then quickly deleted it, before taking over Al-Nassr after the dismissal of Luis Castro at the beginning of the season.

Meanwhile, Frenchman Laurent Blanc took over the coaching of Al-Ittihad amidst significant changes in the coaching staff of Saudi professional clubs this season.
