The Professional Clubs Association stated in an official statement that there will be no increase in the number of foreign players during the upcoming season.
According to the decision, the current system will continue with 5 over-age players and 3 under-age players, allowing only 6 players to participate in each match, including one under-age player.
The association also announced the cancellation of relegation in the Egyptian league this season, with 21 teams participating in the next season.
The association confirmed that the league championship for the upcoming season will take place from August 15 until the end of May 2026.
