Ahd Diab, the President of the Professional Clubs Association, revealed today, Sunday, the start date of the Egyptian League for the upcoming season.

Diab stated in his remarks that the Egyptian League will kick off on August 15, 2023, and will conclude at the end of May 2026, in order to ensure the regularity of the tournament and avoid congestion of matches.

He added that the early scheduling was made to organize the local agenda and ensure the competition concludes at an appropriate time, in line with the international commitments and continental tournaments in which Egyptian clubs participate.

Diab clarified that the association is working to provide a more organized and stable season, and the full match schedule will be announced after the final format of the tournament is approved.
