Atletico Madrid achieved a significant victory against their rival club Real Betis with a score of 4-1, in the match that brought the two teams together in the 37th round of the Spanish League.

Atletico Madrid opened the scoring early in the match through Argentine star Julian Alvarez in the 10th minute, before Ruben Lo Normand scored the second goal in the 45th + 3 minute.

The players of Real Betis managed to reduce the deficit by scoring their first goal in the 67th minute through Pablo Fornals, but Alvarez returned again and scored his second goal and the third for his team in the 75th minute.

The players of Atletico Madrid were not satisfied with this result and managed to score the fourth goal in the 90th + 6 minute through Angel Correa.

With this victory, Atletico Madrid raised their tally to 73 points in third place in the Spanish League table, securing qualification for the Champions League next season, while Real Betis's tally remained at 59 points in sixth place.
