Khaled Al-Ghandour, former Zamalek star, called for the postponement of the Pyramids vs. Ceramica Cleopatra match in the league due to Pyramids' participation in the final of the African Champions League.

Pyramids will face Sundowns on May 24 in the first leg of the African Champions League final, then they will meet Ceramica on the 28th of the same month, before facing Sundowns again in the return leg on June 1.

Al-Ghandour said via "On Sport" radio: "The upcoming camp for the Egyptian national team, scheduled as part of the FIFA agenda, has been canceled because of Al-Ahly, and I support them for the Club World Cup."

He added: "But the question now is that it is the first time Pyramids will play in the African Champions League final. The association scheduled the Ceramica match for the 28th and the first leg of the Champions League final for next Saturday, with the return match on June 1, which is just three days after the Ceramica match."

He continued: "It is the first time there is a match in between, even though the same association postponed last year. We want fairness among the clubs so that no one can say why this is happening."
