Zamalek Announces Boycott of Clubs Association Meeting
The board of directors of Zamalek Club announced today, Sunday, the boycott of the scheduled meeting for the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association to discuss and propose ideas for the shape of the Egyptian Premier League competition for the upcoming season.
Zamalek clarified in its statement that this decision came in protest against the way the league competition is being managed this season, which reflects a lack of fairness, integrity, and transparency, as evidenced by the 'unjust' decision issued by the board of the association regarding the penalties for the recent summit match.
The absence from the meeting, to which Zamalek was invited, will serve as a complete rejection from the club of the association's board decision.
