Al-Hilal Approaches a New World-Class Coach Before the Club World Cup
Sunday 18-05-2025
Saudi Al-Hilal continues its serious efforts to contract a world-class coach to lead the team in the upcoming phase, specifically before the start of the Club World Cup, scheduled to be held in the Kingdom.

José Félix Díaz, the editor-in-chief of the Spanish newspaper "Marca," revealed that Al-Hilal has made advanced contacts with three major coaches over the past weeks, as part of its efforts to secure a high-level technical leadership.

Among the prominent names in the running is Italian Simone Inzaghi, the coach of Inter Milan, but his full focus is currently on the UEFA Champions League final, making the prospect of his departure complicated.

According to Díaz's statements, negotiations with Inzaghi have faced some difficulties, especially with his Italian club's insistence on keeping him during this sensitive phase, which reduces the chances of finalizing the deal soon.

On the other hand, it seems that Portuguese Marco Silva, the coach of Fulham in England, is currently the closest option to take on the role, as he is seriously considering the Al-Hilal offer amidst alignment with the known technical approach of the Saudi team.
