Media sources have revealed exciting developments regarding the position of Saudi club Al-Nassr on participating in the AFC Champions League 2, following their exit from the qualification for elite spots.

In this context, Fahd Al-Qahiz, the former president of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee, stated that participation of clubs in continental tournaments goes through specific procedures and requires direct coordination with the Saudi Football Federation.

Al-Qahiz emphasized that the final decision regarding Al-Nassr's participation requires clear agreement between the club's management and the Saudi Federation, before submitting the names to the Asian Football Confederation.

He added that if Al-Nassr refuses to participate in the tournament, the right to participate automatically transfers to the next team in the standings, without Al-Nassr facing any type of penalties or pressure.

These statements have opened the door to speculation about whether Al-Nassr will decide to enter the continental competition or leave the opportunity for another team to represent Saudi football in the new tournament.
