
Fines Imposed on Roshan League Clubs Due to Organizational Violations
The Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation imposed a set of financial penalties today, Sunday, on four clubs in the Roshan League, after observing organizational violations and transgressions during their recent matches.
Al-Ittihad Club topped the list of penalized clubs, having been fined 10,000 riyals due to the delay of its players entering the field, which caused a delay in the start of the second half of their match against Al-Fayha.
The committee also imposed another fine of 50,000 riyals on Al-Ittihad for exceeding the allowed number of loudspeakers, in addition to organizational violations during its match against Al-Nasr.
Al-Nasr was not far from the penalties, as the committee required it to pay 50,000 riyals for not allocating the specified percentage of seats at a price not exceeding 30 riyals during its match against Al-Ittihad.
Al-Shabab Club received a penalty of 10,000 riyals after seven of its players received yellow cards and red cards during their match against Al-Ahli, which was considered a significant behavioral transgression.
In conclusion, the committee fined Al-Fateh Club 50,000 riyals for not complying with the regulations regarding the use of smoke flares, in addition to violations in the division of the stands prior to its match against Al-Shabab.
