Tariq Kayal revealed that Al-Ahli club has signed a binding agreement with Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri, which has caused a significant predicament for the club's management due to its previous commitment to current coach Matthias Yaisleh.

Matthias Yaisleh has demanded a new four-year contract with a hefty annual salary of 20 million euros, while he currently earns 9 million euros annually, which can reach up to 12 million with bonuses.

Despite Al-Ahli's offer to the German coach to extend his contract for an additional season, his substantial financial demands prevented a new agreement, prompting the management to hesitate in making a final decision.

The Al-Ahli club issued an official statement denying any agreements or negotiations with Allegri or other coaches, reaffirming its commitment to Matthias until the end of his contract on June 30, 2026.

In a surprising development, Yaisleh stated in a press conference that the club informed him of its unwillingness to extend his contract, which contradicts the club's statement indicating that negotiations had started a week ago to discuss the extension.
