The Al-Ahli team succeeded in avenging itself against Al-Khulood, after the latter inflicted a defeat on them in the first leg with a score of 1-0. The "Raqi" returned with a significant victory in the second leg with a score of 4-1, as part of the 32nd round of the Saudi Professional League, on the grounds of Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.

Despite the first half ending in a goalless draw, the second half witnessed an attacking explosion from Al-Ahli, as they scored four consecutive goals, contributed to by both Firas Al-Braikan and Ivan Toney, with notable performances from Riyad Mahrez and Ziyad Al-Jahani in playmaking.

The match featured a crucial moment in the 60th minute when Matteo Damms scored an own goal, giving Al-Ahli the lead and opening the door for complete control over the course of the match.

Al-Ahli imposed its superiority in terms of possession (59%), shots (14 to 8), and accurate passes at a rate of 87%. Firas Al-Braikan excelled and scored a decisive goal, while Ivan Toney scored from a penalty kick.

With this victory, Al-Ahli raised its tally to 64 points in fifth place, while Al-Khulood's points remained at 34 in thirteenth place, edging closer to the danger zone as the season comes to a close.
