Safwan Abdul Ghani Criticizes the Position of the President of Diyala Before the Match Against Al-Shorta
Sports analyst Safwan Abdul Ghani has made a clear criticism of the president of Diyala Club following his recent statements urging the team players to win against Al-Shorta, emphasizing that this stance is inconsistent with what the man himself previously stated.
Safwan said: "I am never convinced by the attempt to motivate the players by the president of Diyala Club before the match against Al-Shorta, as he himself previously announced his support for Al-Shorta, even confirming that he would gift them the match following the issue that occurred after the match against Al-Zawraa."
He added: "These behaviors undermine the team's dignity and weaken the mental presence of its players, especially since the team is in a position that cannot afford favoritism or contradictions, but rather needs clear and strong stances to support it in remaining in the Stars League."
Abdul Ghani confirmed that "sports should remain free from favoritism, as teams are built on consistency in positions and professional work, not on slogans or wishes."
