
Joachim Löw Attends Barcelona Training
A Spanish newspaper report stated that former German coach Joachim Löw was present today, Saturday, at the training session of FC Barcelona, the domestic treble champion this season.
The Catalan newspaper "Sport" reported that Joachim Löw attended the training of the Catalan team today, Saturday, to meet his fellow countryman coach Hans Flick and his assistant, Sorg.
Löw had recently apologized for attending the DFB-Pokal final, which will take place today, Saturday, as he will be in Barcelona.
Löw said earlier: "I apologize for not attending the DFB-Pokal final because I will be in Barcelona visiting Flick and Sorg."
He added: "I feel sad that I won't be able to watch the cup final from the stadium, but it will be an enjoyable meeting and I will watch it in Barcelona."
He concluded: "I will get to know the internal structure of Barcelona closely, especially in terms of training the players; Barcelona has successfully applied its philosophy for decades."
