Amr Adham Attacks the Clubs Association
Saturday 17-05-2025
Amr Adham, a member of the Zamalek Club Board of Directors, strongly criticized the Egyptian Clubs Association regarding the crisis of the recent summit match.

Amr Adham stated via the "X" platform: "The Egyptian Clubs Association has introduced a principle and a clause in its regulations that protects its decisions and deprived clubs of the right to appeal or contest these decisions."

He added: "The association has overstepped the rights of the clubs and violated what has been established by the conscience of legal scholars and the Egyptian constitution regarding the rights of litigation, cassation, and appeal."

He continued: "The association has overstepped the rights of the clubs and violated what is established by the regulations of the International Football Federation regarding the rights of litigation before it and the appeal of its decisions before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Whether out of ignorance or intent, this is a precedent that opens the door to prioritizing the inclinations and whims of the association's officials over the application of the law."

He concluded: "As for the Appeals Committee, the perplexing question that needs an answer and explanation remains: If the Appeals Committee finds it lacks jurisdiction to consider the appeals of the clubs, why was there a wait, postponement, and communication with the clubs and the association, and summoning legal teams to listen, only to conclude that the committee is not competent?"
