Sherif Hazem, a former Ahly player, commented on Ahly's signing of Ahmed Sayed Zizo, the star of Zamalek.

He said on MBC Masr channel: "Zizo might not play as a starter in Ahly, because the competition in Zamalek is easy compared to Ahly."

He added: "Zizo is not impactful with the national team, and if a comparison is made between him and Trezeguet, it will go in favor of Trezeguet."

He continued: "The competition in Ahly is different; if Zizo performs poorly in a match, he will sit on the bench. Ahly signed Zizo after the withdrawal decision just to get him, that's it."

He concluded: "Ahly's contract with Zizo calmed things down a bit, and Zizo's deal wasn't difficult; Zamalek doesn't have the money to pay, and Ahly came in and closed it easily."

He finished: "Zizo was the best player in Zamalek and the Ferrari of the team, but in Ahly, he won't be a Ferrari with many others around."
