Blanc Decides to Give Players a Break from Training
Reports confirmed that French coach Laurent Blanc of Al-Ittihad has decided to give his players a break from collective training today, following their league title win yesterday, Thursday, after defeating Al-Raed with a score of 3-1.
According to the reports, Al-Ittihad will resume training tomorrow, Saturday, in preparation for the upcoming match against Al-Shabab scheduled for next Tuesday, in the thirty-third round of the league.
Sources indicated that the administrative team of Al-Ittihad will organize a small celebration for the players on the field before the start of training, to celebrate winning the league title.
Al-Ittihad leads the Saudi Professional League standings with 77 points, while Al-Hilal is in second place with 68 points.
