Since Al-Nassr's defeat against Al-Ittihad on May 7, rumors have followed the team's star Cristiano Ronaldo, as he missed the team's collective training without an official clarification from the club.

Ronaldo's absence coincided with speculation about his rebellion against the club's management, amidst reports of his dissatisfaction with the current sports project and his serious consideration of leaving the team in the near future.

The Portuguese star did not participate in the matches against Al-Akhidood and Al-Taawoun, despite his team's overwhelming victory over the former with a score of 9-0, with confirmation of his official absence from the second match.

Journalist Abdulaziz Al-Muraisel completely denied the rebellion rumors, confirming that Ronaldo is suffering from an injury he sustained during his participation in the AFC Champions League, specifically since the knockout stages.

Despite the injury, Ronaldo participated in the semi-final match against Kawasaki from Japan, which Al-Nassr lost 2-3, and also played against Al-Ittihad, which exacerbated his suffering and forced him to miss temporarily.

Al-Muraisel confirmed that Ronaldo will return to participate in Al-Nassr's lineup on May 21 against Al-Khaleej, as part of the third round of the Roshen Professional League.
