Al-Ittihad Club secured the Roshan Saudi League title before the end of the competition by two rounds, after defeating Al-Raed 3-1 in the match of round 32, which took place last Thursday evening at King Abdullah Stadium in Buraidah.

The Al-Ittihad team dominated the top of the Roshan Saudi League standings with 77 points, leading by 9 points over second-placed Al-Hilal.

Under the leadership of their French coach Laurent Blanc, Al-Ittihad recorded many remarkable statistics after winning the Saudi league title for the current season.

Al-Ittihad's statistics after winning the Roshan League title:

1- Laurent Blanc became the first French coach to win the Saudi Professional League title, also securing his first title in his coaching career outside France.

2- Al-Ittihad won the Saudi league title for the 14th time in its history and the third during the professional era after the 2008-09 and 2022-23 seasons.

3- The Frenchman Karim Benzema will become the third captain to lift the Saudi league trophy during the professional era after Mohammed Noor in the 2008-09 season and the Egyptian Ahmed Hegazi in 2022-23.

4- Al-Ittihad achieved its highest number of victories in a single season in the Professional League with 24 and recorded its highest scoring tally in a single season in the competition with 75.

5- Laurent Blanc became the first coach in the history of Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Professional League to accumulate 77 points in one season.

6- Al-Ittihad won the Saudi league title for the first time in its history before the end of the season by two rounds, joining a list that includes clubs such as Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Al-Fateh, which have achieved this before.

7- Since the beginning of the 21st century, Jeddah clubs have won 7 titles in the Saudi league, with Al-Ittihad alone securing 6 of them.
