Al-Ittihad team was crowned champions of the Saudi Professional League for the tenth time in its history after defeating Al-Raed today, Thursday, with a score of 3-1 in the match held as part of the 32nd round of the league.
The goals for Al-Ittihad were scored by: Steven Bergwijn, Danilo Pereira, and Abdulrahman Al-Aboud in the 21st, 40th, and 47th minutes respectively, while Al-Raed's only goal was scored by Omar Gonzalez in the ninth minute.
With this result, Al-Ittihad's points rise to 77 at the top of the Saudi league standings.
Al-Hilal occupies the second place in the standings with 68 points.
