An Argentine media report stated that Real Madrid has indeed begun working on acquiring River Plate midfielder Franco Mastantuno.

According to the Argentine network "TYC SPORTS", Real Madrid officially contacted the young player to sign him.

The source added that the agent of the young Argentine star was in the Spanish capital, Madrid, to meet with representatives of the royal club.

The source concluded that Real Madrid conducted a video call with the young player, during which the player showed enthusiasm for the idea of moving to the white team.

It is worth mentioning that the club is working on several deals, most notably defender Diyan Hojin, and left-back Alvaro Carreras, noting that the club has finalized the deal for Trent Alexander-Arnold.
