The Italian club Napoli is facing a major crisis in its efforts to sign English star Jack Grealish, the winger from Manchester City, during the upcoming summer transfer window, amid financial difficulties that hinder the completion of the deal.

According to 'Football Insider', Napoli's management is seeking to acquire the 29-year-old player on a loan basis only, due to its inability to bear the transfer fee or pay his high salary, as his contract with City continues until the summer of 2027.

Grealish is demanding clear assurances from his coach Pep Guardiola regarding his role with the team in the upcoming season, amid indications of his openness to the idea of moving to Serie A, especially after the successful experiences of players like Scott McTominay and Billy Gilmour in Napoli.

However, the biggest obstacle remains convincing Manchester City’s management of the idea of a loan, given the club's desire to benefit financially from a permanent sale of the player.
