Al-Wakrah Shocks Al-Ahly Regarding Hamdi Fathi
Sources have revealed that the officials of Al-Wakrah Club in Qatar have firmly rejected the request of Al-Ahly Club in Egypt regarding Hamdi Fathi, the team's player.
Al-Wakrah had agreed last December to loan Hamdi Fathi to Al-Ahly during the period of the FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to take place from June 14 to July 13 in the United States.
Al-Ahly in Cairo requested their Qatari counterpart to sign Hamdi Fathi permanently instead of just loaning him for the Club World Cup.
According to Qatari sources, Al-Wakrah has rejected Al-Ahly's request for a permanent transfer of Hamdi Fathi.
Al-Wakrah insists on keeping Hamdi Fathi in their squad as he has been one of the key players after showing good form since his arrival.
