Ittihad Aims to Secure League Title Before Two Matches End
Ittihad Jeddah, led by coach Laurent Blanc, is looking to achieve a historic accomplishment in the upcoming match against Al-Raed in the Saudi league.
Ittihad will be a guest to Al-Raed at 9 PM tomorrow, Thursday, at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, as part of the 32nd round of the Roshen Saudi Professional League.
The club hopes to win against Al-Raed and secure the league title two rounds before the end, for the first time in its history, having previously won it in the 2008-2009 and 2022-2023 seasons with only one round left.
Ittihad aims to join the list of champions who secured the Saudi Professional League title two rounds before the end, alongside Al-Hilal, Al-Ahli, and Al-Fateh.
Al-Hilal is considered the team that has secured the league title before the end two rounds the most, having done so for the first time in the 2011-2012 season, then in 2016-2017, with the latest being in 2019-2020.
