Wednesday 14-05-2025
The Saudi national football team is starting its preparations to continue its journey in the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, through a closed training camp under the supervision of French coach Hervé Renard.

The camp will be held in the city of Khobar from May 27 to June 3, where the coaching staff aims to raise the players' readiness before the upcoming matches against Bahrain and Australia.

As part of the preparations, the Green will hold a closed training match against the Jordanian national team, on the afternoon of May 30 at the 'Ego' Stadium of Al-Ettifaq Club, in an indoor atmosphere away from public attendance.

All selected players will join the camp in Khobar, except for the players from Al-Ittihad and Al-Qadisiyah teams, who will join later due to their participation in the final of the King Cup.

The national team relies on this technical gathering to regain harmony and balance, especially since the next two matches represent an important turning point in the qualification journey for the 2026 World Cup.
