Al-Fateh Prepares to Face Al-Hilal Amidst Significant Absences
Wednesday 14-05-2025
Al-Fateh is preparing to face Al-Hilal in the 32nd round of the Roshan Professional League, amidst the significant absence of defender Hussein Al-Zaraei, who will not participate in the decisive match at the club's stadium in Al-Ahsa.

Coach José Gomes is making intensive efforts to choose a suitable substitute to compensate for Al-Zaraei's absence, given the importance of the match and the team's eagerness to present a solid defensive performance against the second-placed team.

The match carries a vengeful tone for Al-Fateh, who aims to erase the heavy defeat in the first round against Al-Hilal, where they lost 9-0, marking one of the team's harshest defeats of the season.

After falling to Al-Wehda with a score of 1-0, Al-Fateh is in dire need of a win against Al-Hilal to maintain their hopes of staying in the Roshan League, especially with the competition heating up in the final rounds.

On another note, sources revealed that keeping Brazilian Renan Lodi on the bench against Al-Urouba was a technical decision by interim coach Mohammed Al-Shalhoub, during the match that ended with Al-Hilal winning 4-0.

The last match against Al-Hilal witnessed remarkable attacking brilliance, with goals scored by Alexander Mitrovic, Salem Al-Dosari, and Caio Cesar, who netted two goals, confirming their readiness for the upcoming encounter with Al-Fateh.

At the same time, Al-Hilal player Hamad Al-Yami is undergoing a medical examination to determine the extent of his injury after suffering a muscle strain during Monday's match, which may affect his readiness for the upcoming rounds.

Al-Hilal occupies the second position in the standings with 68 points and is preparing to finish its season with strong matches against Al-Fateh, then Al-Wehda, and finally Al-Qadisiyah, aiming to pressure the leader until the last round.
