The Ticket Price Announcement
Mohammed Al-Munajem, the president of Al-Shabab Club, revealed the reason for setting the ticket price for his team's match against Al-Ahli at 276 riyals.
Al-Munajem sparked widespread controversy due to the ticket price, which references the date of Al-Ahli's relegation to Yelo League on 27/6/2022.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Shabab won against their guest Al-Ahli with a score of 3-1 in the match held for the 31st round of the Saudi League on Sunday.
Al-Munajem stated in this regard: "The goal was to market the match, and today the federation is playing an important match, but all eyes are on the match between Al-Shabab and Al-Ahli, even though it does not affect us or them in terms of points."
The president of Al-Shabab Club continued: "The most important thing is that we won and achieved the three points, and the match was worthy of both teams."
He added: "As for Prince Abdul Rahman bin Turki's comments regarding the tickets, they carry significant depth, and we adopt it. Our intention behind raising the prices was to market the confrontation and create excitement."
The president of Al-Shabab Club continued: "The events of the Al-Shabab and Al-Ahli match are always historical, and I will not comment on the skirmishes."
